Welcome to Sunshine Mini School, a place that feels less like a childcare centre and more like a second home. Sunshine Mini School is warm, genuine, and built around real people.

With 83 places, we’ve built Sunshine to give more families access to genuine, high-quality early learning. It’s a place where every child and their family are part of our family.

Sunshine isn’t owned by a franchise, or a group of investors or businessmen who pop into the centre a couple of times a year. At Sunshine, ‘family owned’ isn’t a throwaway line, it’s actually exactly who we are.

Sunshine is the real deal. It’s owned and run by two hands on educators who’ve spent their careers in early childhood classrooms, working and loving the children and being part of the whole journey.

We hold ourselves to a high standard educationally. Our programs are thoughtfully designed to build the skills children will need for the world ahead of them – critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, communication, collaboration and a genuine sense of care for others and the world around them. We stay curious about the future and open to new ways of learning and adapting.

But underneath all of that, we haven’t lost sight of the simple things. Play and genuine relationships. Sunshine Mini School is real, unhurried, old-fashioned care based around play because we believe that play is where the deepest learning happens, and where children should be allowed to just be children. That balance, of high standards and simple joy, is what the Sunshine way is all about.
